Your Questions, Answered

  • We'll speak before we shoot — by Zoom or in person — so I understand what this portrait needs to do for you. The session itself runs 90 minutes to two hours, mostly in natural light, with direction that's guided but never rigid. I'll deliver 6 to 10 final edited images, carefully selected and minimally retouched.

  • During our pre-session conversation we'll choose the location together. It could be my studio, your home, your workspace, somewhere that means something to you — or somewhere we discover together. The right location is the one that feels like you.

  • Yes. All final images are yours to use however you need — personal or professional.

  • Minimal. I correct for light and tone and remove minor blemishes. I don't alter faces or bodies — the goal is authenticity. The final images are yours to use however you need. I only ask that images shared publicly reflect the work as delivered, so that what people see represents both of us fairly.

Final edited images are delivered within one to two weeks.

  • It's not easy to let yourself be seen. Even as a photographer, I feel the same when I'm in front of the lens — which is why I know how to make space for you to forget the camera is there. The first twenty minutes aren't really about photographs at all. By the time we're working, you've usually forgotten to be uncomfortable.
